Combat ration sucks
Before the commencement of NDP, nic gotta book in to camp again
Won't be able to see him till next weekend =(
He will be having his SIT test today. I just wish him all the best
hope he does well for it, though he's in some sh*tty conditions in the jungle
Anyway, i tried the combat ration that he brought home that day
OMG. i really pity those soldiers who have to feed on combat ration during their field camp
Though the fanciful name for the combat ration sounded delicious, but the food sux indeed!
The one i had was teriyaki chicken pasta. HMmm. sounds pretty good huh
In the jungle, those soldiers have to eat it cold without being able to heat it up
At home, i boiled the package of combat ration, hoping it will taste better when its hot
To my dismay, it is one of the most horrible food i ever had.
Just one small bite, it already turned my appetite away.
I have deemed those combat ration as inedible.
Not something that can be fed to humans. Whats more to men who protect this country of ours?
I let my sis tried the pasta and she too thinks its disgusting
Felt sorry that i have to waste the food, but i really couldn't get the pasta down my throat.
Honestly, i'm not a picky eater, but this pasta is really too horrible to be eaten
Or perhaps, teriyaki sauce just don't go well with pasta. A combination of both only turned out to be what we call DISASTER
Oh. School is officially starting this coming monday
I'm seriously not prepared to go back to the books, and not ready to sit in boring lectures
ha. suddenly miss hui ping so much.
Felt so lost without having someone like her to keep reminding me of important dates
As you know, i'm quite blur regarding dates. Always forgetting my practicals n tutorials. =(
Now i really have to learn to be independent, to be on my own
Esp when the system in uni is so different from that in poly
I now have to plan my own time-table, no more spoon-feeding from the sch
The feeling sux. And i realised i do not have my closed friends with me anymore.
Out of a sudden, i just feel like a foreign student, someone who is alone in a foreign environment
Its a horrible feeling that i'm going thru now. But i guess i have to go thru it no matter what
Wish me luck.
